Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wee Cottage in the charming village of Penpont, just a short distance from Thornhill. the location was ideal for us, as we were able to explore the nearby Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club and Dumfries and County Golf Club, both of which were within a 30 km radius. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing family getaway. the kids particularly enjoyed the spacious garden, where they could play and run around to their heart's content. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy for us to prepare meals for the family. During our stay, we took advantage of the community cafe in Penpont, which offered delicious homemade treats and a welcoming atmosphere. the locals were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Our experience at the Wee Cottage was delightful, and we would highly recommend it to other families looking for a peaceful retreat in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway.
